what is aspectuality?

Aspectuality is a play on the idea of a reality in which more is different, and whereby universal phenomena can be reasoned in more than one way –by more than one aspect, simultaneously.

Take Carl Sagan’s apple pie:

if you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe —Carl Sagan

There are many ways to interpret this quote, but all reconcile with the simple fact that all complex universal phenomenalike apple-pies, can only exist because of a long and specific timeline of events, in which the earliest fundaments of universal phenomena were iteratively evolved up through the physical phenomenal compositions we commonly consider the concerns of physics, chemistry, and biology, to people, farming, recipes, and cooking; such that the final form and material particulars of an apple-pie are achievable not simply as a result of following sequentially applied physical methodology of an apple-pie recipe, but of all of the physically inherited causal characteristics and circumstances of each and every constituent ingredient ^[ And requisite apparatus, and appetite, and the rest ].

Aspectual analysis of an apple-pie might meaningfully consider: the pie directly, consistency, aesthetics, toxicity, nutritional value; miscellaneous chemical concerns; physical concerns; even atomic or sub-atomic concerns, with respect to heating, or some other inherent or applicable potential. Each is a valid aspect of the same phenomena. Each modelled by distinct mathematical or mechanical account.

The point of all this is simply, that our reality can be meaningfully perceived, considered, and reasoned in more than one way –by more than one aspect, simultaneously ^[ And we have evolved to do exactly this ]: our reality is aspectual; an aspectuality.

Importantly for a coherent universe, the implication, is that all aspects must reconcile; and we really ought to do more with that fact. $$\ldots$$
